We are an LGBTQ+ friendly Semi-literate Marvel RP server, with a focus on mixing MCU and Comics at your own discretion. Set circa 2016. The Avengers have been formed for many years now, but this server does not closely follow the MCU timeline and is instead based on individual interpretation and comic lore. Users are allowed to pick any place in the comic or cinematic timeline to base their canon portrayal on.On May 20th of 2016, Steve Rogers was found dead in his Brooklyn apartment. Following a brief investigation by the NYPD and FBI, nothing was foretold about the man's death or why it happened.The case has been closed to the public- even fellow Avengers, leaving others uncertain about the details of his death. Less than a week later, Anthony Edward Stark was found dead in one of the many Stark warehouses. Investigations followed. Another closed and shut case with no answers. Aside from a brief interview with a close friend of Tony Stark’s held by Investigative Journalist Scott Lang, who had managed to reveal that the demise of Tony Stark had been a gruesome one.Government officials have held meeting after meeting on discussion of what to do with the infamous Iron Man suits, considered to be weapons of mass destruction. Public speculation asks another perhaps more important question, who will fill the role of these now deceased avengers? Or is it time to put the team to rest for good and let America find some new heroes? Other recent reports cite that anonymous dealers across the streets from Midland Beach to Westchester have been selling unsanctioned “mutant cures.” being bought in bulk. Leaving the public to wonder, Is this the work of a hopeful civilian wanting to help those with problematic abilities? Or is there something more nefarious at play here?In other news, Mayor Wilson Fisk has released a statement emphasizing a crackdown on vigilantism and leaving many to wonder.. Is he connected to all of this?Among the chaos of two murders of very prominent figures in the same month, came the mysterious clues and messages left by an unknown figure- prompting several men, women and low-level heroes to report on this figure giving calls to action. Asking them not to give up on the case and to bring some justice to these actions.
